A child does not understand why there is not always enough food at home. Or why their parents do not eat dinner with them at night. And they don’t understand which foods fuel their growing bodies, and which ones do not. But they understand what hunger feels like.

The children in the Coachella Valley and Hi-Desert Region are suffering the same hardships as Liam.

We serve over 5,700 children, which makeup 38% of the people we serve locally.
