Climate Action Corps Fellow Program

You can help fight climate change, hunger, and food waste all while serving those in need in our local communities! California Volunteers Office of the Governor and FIND Food Bank are pairing up again to bring the next generation to the frontlines of the problems facing our planet allowing them to become part of the solution.

Apply to be a Fellow in the AmeriCorps California Climate Action Corps program and serve as a Fellow for 11 months at FIND Food Bank. Commit to a year of service and receive monthly stipends working on local climate action goals and projects to make a greater impact on the communities we serve.

California Volunteers created the California Climate Action Corps program to advance climate actions that engage community members, cultivate change, and leave a lasting impact. Activities include volunteer engagement, assessment, and education projects. Fellows will assist FIND Food Bank with organic waste and food recovery efforts by participating in projects that will increase volunteer engagement and food recovery efforts.
