Homebound deliveries help feed our most vulnerable neighbors in need by volunteering for a contactless delivery shift. Donate your gas mileage and volunteer behind the wheel; drop off pre-packaged goods for our homebound or immunocompromised clients. This is also a great opportunity to bring excited hunger fighters under the age of 14 to experience service to our community<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Get a behind-the-scenes look at how donated food travels through our warehouse and delivered directly to over 150 distribution sites of community food pantries, homeless shelters, community mobile markets, and homebound residents most in need. You’ll inspect, sort, clean, box and prepare donations for distribution. We welcome volunteers over the age of 17 into our warehouse who are comfortable with walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and carrying items weighing in excess of 30 pounds. Please note that mask, gloves and comfortable close-toed shoes, must be worn at all times within our facility. <\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Oportunidades de voluntariado para adolescentes <\/strong>(De 14 a 17 a\u00f1os)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Adolescentes (16 -17 a\u00f1os)<\/strong>: Voluntario en el almac\u00e9n o eventos de distribuci\u00f3n de FIND. No se requiere la supervisi\u00f3n de un adulto, pero un voluntario adulto y adolescente debe firmar el permiso de voluntariado. El adulto es responsable de los adolescentes durante las actividades de voluntariado. Adolescentes (14 \u2013 15 a\u00f1os)<\/strong>: Volunteer at warehouse events without creating a Volunteer Hub account. One adult chaperone must be present for every ten volunteers and sign a youth volunteer waiver. Call 760-542-2176 ext. 132 to reserve a Youth Volunteer Saturday spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
